Tremor in the Hills follows Tamara. She is a young woman searching for her missing friend K’antu in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake in Peru. A search for answers turns into a deeper look at corruption, loss, and the strength of the human spirit.
This story is very personal. I survived an 8.1 earthquake in Peru myself, and I’ve never forgotten what I saw in the days and weeks that followed. The novel grew from that experience, blending mystery, emotion, and resilience.
