Happy New Year from Ned to everyone who reads Ned’s Notes. I wanted to start the year by checking in and sharing a brief update.
If it feels like it’s been a while since the last post! I miss you guys. But much of the recent focus has been on an upcoming non-fiction book project. Writing this book is going to require sustained attention, research, and reflection. Never fear, Ned will appear. Just not quite weekly until spring.
- Posts will still appear occasionally
- The schedule will be lighter than usual through winter
- More regular updates are expected to return around April
- Don’t forget to check out the rest of Ned’s Notes
- And read all about his wacky adventures in Pairs, Mishaps, Wrecks & Critters (also available on Barnes and Noble). More Crack the Case Books coming in 2027.
- Tremor in the Hills is also available, with book 2 coming in late 2026
In other words: fewer notes, but not radio silence. Think “pop-in updates,” not “vanished without explanation.”
Looking Ahead
Thank you for continuing to stop by, read, and stick around while the long-form work takes center stage. The notes will return. The book will eventually behave. And there will be plenty to talk about on the other side of this writing stretch.
